Pic was before the 310-8 With leaf bagger and Honda Rancher went in. The 520H is in the heated garage! Trust me I’m outta space!

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the orange tractor in the middle in the shed?

That's an Economy Power King.

Judging by the hood shape I'm guessing around 1960?

Good reputation as a worker.

And my favorite color.

Something I'd like to own someday.

Eric is correct, it is a 1956 Economy Country Squire. The 24” model. 9hp Briggs model 23fb.

Love power kings especially with the 24 inch wheels. I was always curious about a tug o war between that and a cub. I haven't found anything on YouTube.

Power Kings, or Economy’s are a little beyond an actual garden tractor. They fit mid way between garden tractors and Farmall Cubs. They have automotive components such as rear axles, transmission’s and clutches but garden tractor power. I.E. Briggs, Kohler, Wisconsin. What ever they are wonderful just like my beloved Wheel Horses!

I agree they are a step above, probably your first true SCUT. So good that Terramite used them as the platform for their first backhoes.Unfortunately the economy and cub are both a little big for my property.:(
