A horse stampede stopper!

Well my husband was at play working on some tractors we acquired and testing them out and all that guy stuff when he got a live one!!🤣. C-161 automatic!  Ok so what he told me happened was he was using our son’s pickup to jump the tractor.  Things was going along well when he must have bumped the lever and the horse took off crashing into the side of the truck.  These horses are wild and tough the truck got damaged more then the horse!  😜. He is eager to get some hydro lines fixed and get it gone!  Our son took it well and no one was hurt other then his pride!  You can see in front of the tractor it was digging down and pushing like a dozer!  He got it killed and pulled back from the truck to assess the damage!!!

A friend of mine was working on a hydro horse to get running, It started and ran into the inside of his pole building spinning the tires too! the linkage was loose and he thought it was in neutral. He now put those new to him ones on jack stands when first starting.

His machine was not hurt, but the building was dented.

to bad about the truck, at least no one was hurt.

There is a belt release! You just have to pull up on it.

Good story to go with the dent in the truck, though.

Kind of neat how the dent matches the horse's hood contours.

Don't know whether it says more about the antique WH or the Chevy. My guess is that  the WH will still be punching above it's weight 30 years out and the truck will be a memory.

This is how I test all my hydros.    I don't use my truck as the barricade.     I use a big locust tree.
