wh315-8 474 #1 Posted October 9, 2020 She diffently got the wheels ran off of her. Few nifty mods. The seat has a old car coil spring under it. Duals are just bolts with tubing for spacers. Right engine but the oil fill is in the base like older B&S engines did. No fill in the top of block like my other K161 engines of same era. My other K's do have the flat spot on the oil pan but no hole. Good part is it's all there, just needs a good rubdown. 7 2 1

Yea they are different, but who knows what this ole nag went thru in the past 59 years. Good part is she is all there just a couple extra holes and part of hood cutout but all fixable. Next week I will see if engine has any life, it does turn over.
Ed Kennell 42,176 #6 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) The seat looks like a fun ride. Might need a tube in that front tire......other than that, she's a beauty. Edited October 9, 2020 by Ed Kennell

WHNJ701 4,165 #11 Posted October 10, 2020 Can't complain about that one, all the hard to find parts are there. That would make a nice patina resto. There was a 701 on nj craigslist this week, didn't last long

Everything does seem to be there for sure. Some extra holes drilled and cut in hood but all fixable.

I will get her back but it will be some time getting there with Fall/Winter moving in and somehow Work (Job) always seems to be in the way. 1 1
