310 with snowblower ?

  My son has a chance to get a 310-8 with a snowblower will the 10hp be able to handle the snowblower?

if its a single stage  36" x 42 "  it will be the minimum power needed to run that , 12 hp and above is much better in such operational equipment power draw. pete

Single stage or 2 stage snowblower?

What type of snow, and how much snow do you get?

 

It should be able to handle the snowblower, however if you get a lot of wet snow you might be pushing it.  I have the 312 hydrostatic with a 2 stage blower, dry snow no issue, wet snow more power would be better but it does the job.

310-8 and a 312 hydro would be pretty comparable. 

 

As stated above wet snow you'd have to take it easy but it would be fine.
