durable and reliable as an anvil

It's also a little easier to cut grass with a garden tractor than it is with an anvil

BACH-ED , your  statement on plowing the whole street is familiar to me , heavy snow virtually stops traffic , and street plowing  takes time, i also have a cul de sac just up the street from me  , so with an empty road and no cars i will make a loop up and back till traffic starts up . nothing better than a road plowing horse on an empty road ,  its the simple things that make you happy , pete

There are few things that give as much joy as plowing like that, kind of like when you heard it was a snow day off when you were in school.

Pullstart

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned either, because I tend to lean towards old more than new... but the Xi series tractors are amazing machines as well!  They have a stout automatic transmission, foot control, cruise control, some even have power steering, and are often times had for very little compared to some others.  They are like the unknown gold mine in the collector world still!  Beware though, most all Xi attachments are Xi proprietary... though some were built as New Holland machines.
