Very cool engine work! :handgestures-thumbupright: You have to do a video of it pulling when done, I'm not used to the auto trans for that and want to see how it does :eusa-think:  I'm a 100% fan of auto over manual shift in the real world nowadays, heck tractor-trailers even have been doing it that. Thus all the idiots, no double-clutching to learn, that was how we weeded out all the wannabee's . . .   Keep us posted! Don't get me wrong, I'd still be all over a 69 Chevelle with a 4 speed Muncie :auto-layrubber:

I installed the new upgraded carb Today with accelerator pump. Runs a lot better and no stumble. I also installed the oil catch can. And started on stack height. Next I have to put a tach on it and see what she is spinning. Sounds to be over 4k now by a bit lol. Sounds very healthy too

Got a chance today to continue working on it. Cutting the hole in the hood bothered me some.

Cool build

Nowadays the hot setup is mounting the roots blowers directly to the crankshaft, no belt or pulleys

@fast88pu Educate me, what does an "Oil Catch Can" do?

catches oil, puts it in the can. :ychain:

it is to limit the amount of oil vapor that might recirculate into the intake from the crank breather.

Never seen anything like that!  Is there a gear set to change any ratio, or it is direct drive only?

The guy my son works for......this is his racecar engine. Right at 4000 horsepower. The intake tube is 6” 🇺🇸

That fit in a GT14?

Might be too big for a standard width frame.

But does it have the torque necessary to do the job in traditional :wh: style...?
