Thinking of selling my 112-C

Recommended Posts

Mule Man 24

I'm thinking about selling my 112-C, but don't really have any idea what it's worth.  Runs and mows well, has a bagger.  I can upload pictures too if that helps.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Definitely needs pictures....no idea what a 112C is. Could it be a C-121?

That looks like it.  Mine is a 5 speed.  I'll try to get some pictures of it tonight and post them!

It's the "commercial" version of the 100-series rear engine rider.  I think they have different front wheels, a Kawasaki engine, and a transaxle with a high-speed transport gear.

Pretty rare as things go.  But the 100's aren't particularly popular with collectors (shame on you guys!).

It would be neat to have the full commercial lineup:

112-C

418-C

520-HC

I think there was a 700-series with a commerical moniker too.  Maybe it was the 5018 zero turn.

I picked up perfect one several years back and gave it to a friend with a small yard. I got it for 125.00. He’s still using it.
I see them here selling for 75-325.

Here are some pictures. It has the original bagger, I just don't have it on it right now. The gray chute on the deck is just something I made. Not sure how many hours it has because the counter didn't work when I got it, but it reads 802.

Is that a 12 hp engine?  I used to run a 15 hp mower before turning to Wheel Horse, it did pretty alright.  I’d imagine a bare bones mower like that aughtta haul more than the mail...

I'm not sure. There was some text on top of the pull cable but it's pretty much completely worn off which is why I didn't include it in the pictures.

I think it's 12.5 hp.  Same engine was used in the 252-H and the 212-6.

Does yours still have the pivoting battery tray under the seat that allows the mower to be stood up for storage?

Those bars on the back that also hold the bagger are landing pads for tipping the tractor upright for storage.  The battery tray was designed to tilt when this move was made so the electrolyte didn't spill all over the place.  I've never seen a 100 that still had that battery hanger in place.

I've always liked these things.  They were really pretty nice machines, they just lack some of the testosterone of the tractor-shaped riders.  I've had a couple of them.

Two outta Three ain't bad. Shame this is way out in Ohio or I'd consider the trifecta collection of commercials

Never knew this model even existed
