Sparky-(Admin) 22,296 #1 Posted August 22, 2020 Not in the market for any tractors right now...but stumbled across this one and it was a good deal. Late 80’s 312/8 with a Magnum. Came with a 42” SD with the reinforcement bar and a 37” SD with a complete bagger system. No real need for it so it’ll get some love and most likely go up for sale. I like to have 4-5 WH’s here and this one makes 6 so one of em has to go. Yes! It’s soaking wet in the pics , just gave it a bath. 9 4

I’ve inspected the 37” deck and it’s been repaired/ welded (done right ) but is in great shape. Haven’t pulled off the 42” yet for inspection but it appears to be solid.
JAinVA 4,629 #4 Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) Nice score.I really like the 312-8 model. The little ugly one I found in the junk yard has over 13 hundred hours on it. It startts instanly and uses no oil.I think sometimes the 312 gets overlooked because everyone seems to want more power. rjg854 11,950 #5 Posted August 22, 2020 I just sold a 312/8, a real nice tractor with only 325 hours. All I wanted from it was the recycler deck, although the insert wasn't there. I kept the deck anyway, maybe some day I will come across an insert. 3 2

lynnmor 7,626 #9 Posted August 23, 2020 The deck wheels look interesting although they might snag on things. Any information on them?
12Horse Paladin 1,038 #10 Posted August 23, 2020 (edited) My username sez it all. I like your new Horse❤👍🏼 ...if one were to but the whole bagger system as you have there, do you know what they go for? I am not able currently to be in the market for one, but DO want one. Thanks for any Info😊 Edited August 23, 2020 by 12Horse Paladin
tom2p 2,394 #11 Posted August 23, 2020 37" deck is a small deck for a 300-500 series can barely trim well around evergreens with a 42" deck ; with a 37" deck will be next to impossible without significant rear tire contact with the branches etc
