Bill G 24 #1 Posted August 16, 2020 Hello all I hope you guys can help me again . I have replaced all safety switch’s on my machine . That in itself was a little project as several times I got the machine to start off the key then it didn’t . I figured out I must of had a bad ground so I cleaned them all . She starts up with the key and now with the engine running and my foot on the brake I try to engage the PTO and the engine stalls out . I’m stumped at this point . I have had this twice and that’s what prompted me to change out the safety switches and clean the grounds . So the engine runs but stalls when PTO is engaged . Any help would be greatly appreciated. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,522 #2 Posted August 16, 2020 As the engine stalls out is there an idiot light that comes on? First suspect would be the seat switch. Perhaps the seat is not opening the switch with the operator in the seat. Button not pushed in far enough? Brake has no affect on the ignition. Garry
Bill G 24 #3 Posted August 16, 2020 (edited) No idiot light I’m not sure if that’s working and I have the seat switch jumped because I thought it had something to do with why it wouldn’t start . The seat pan is off right now with a jumper on across the black and orange wire . So if I understand I should remove that jumper then try it ???
