paul@sses 0 #1 Posted August 13, 2020 (edited) my 310-8. the drive belt idler seized and shredded the belt. replaced pulley, replaced belt with actual wheel horse belt as i have noticed WH tend to not like aftermarket drive belts. its a covered 7473 belt. but now my clutch is sooo tight. as soon as any pressure is released on the pedal, we are flying. this was not the case last week before everything broke. i got out the magnifying glass, led flashlight, divining rod, pencil rubbing kit and held my tongue just right while standing on only the left foot... and i think my worn out sticker in front of the seat says.. 21-10k802, 1986.. the parts diagram shows a fan that i have never had, and belt 7473, idler pulley 7451 but found a replacement in 95-7668. i have let it run and "warm up" but changed nothing.. thoughts, help, condemnation... any input. thank you. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,522 #2 Posted August 13, 2020 7451 idler replaced by WH 95-7668 has a 4" OD. 7443 is an engine drive pulley. Garry
squonk 43,943 #3 Posted August 13, 2020 Aftermarket belts work fine on Wheelhorses. The only belt I really everhad an on going issue with was a WH belt on a

Garry my apologies, i read the wrong note i had written... you are absolutely correct.. it was not the engine drive pulley, it was the clutch idler that was replaced, and i used a 95-7668. thank you.
