rick 258 #1 Posted August 13, 2020 A lot of those connectors that fit into a plastic block should be crimped with an open barrel crimp tool. It is kind of an obscure tool unless one does this work professionally. When I went to work in the radio/equipment install shop for the State Police in 2008 no one had heard of them. I had been doing installs at home for local agencies since 1978. Yes, you can do it with needle nose pliers and get by, like just setting Kohler points to .020 and putting the cover back on, but it's not the correct method.
