munsonRN 0 #1 Posted May 12, 2009 OK, I know this is probably a REALLY stupid question...so no throwing anything at the new guy. BUT, I just bought a 417 A.... What kinds of things other than mow can I do with this? Aerate? Till? Snowblow? What else? I have just read from other forums about whether certain tractors will hold up to "ground engaging" implements and it got me thinking..... Thanks for the help. You should be able to Mow, run a front mount generator, tiller, snow blower, front blade, mid mount blade, one bottom plow, pull carts or trailers, you could get a cab, acquire different hitches and run various types of rear mount implements, many custom made applications will work. I would have to say you can probably even acquire some of the older horse attachments such as side mount PTO hook up, fold out field cutting bars ( sorry the name escapes me at the moment ), and many other attachments.
