vmen84 61 #1 Posted July 25, 2020 I need instruction on how to change the oil in a 1974B 100 B 100 wheel horse I can't find my manual to see what kind of oil it takes or what kind of oil filter to use. I've also been looking on YouTube for videos on how to do this any help would be appreciated. I was also wondering do I need to change the oil for the for the gear fluid it's underneath the seat? The third picture uses the code for the products required. They may differ from the owner manual but are the latest recommendation. Click on this picture to get to the others Illustrated parts list Most users recommend a Wix 51410 or Napa 1410 hydro filter. For hydro oil look to see what color oil is in it now. If it is red use ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) and if it is amber use motor oil. Others can comment on the best oil types for your climate. If in doubt ask questions. Then it says multi purpose lithium-based I'm assuming that's for greasing the gears but what kind of grease ? I'm also not exactly sure what I'm greasing?
