ohiofitter 0 #1 Posted May 11, 2009 Hello all on this forum......My name is Shawn and I live in N.E. Ohio to make a long story short I have just picked up a wheel horse 953 and a 857 according to the model tags on the tractors. Both run well and I've interested in restoring these tractors. But what I need help in is finding parts...............I came across this forum and notice a gentleman had a post of what parts will interchange with other tractors But how do I come across a part listing for these to tractors that I have......Thanks in advance
Coadster32 793 #2 Posted May 11, 2009 :omg: Great place to be. Try this. https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro Punch in your model number. There are a bunch of other sites also.
CasualObserver 3,411 #3 Posted May 11, 2009 Hi, and I'm guessing your talking about the parts lookup I outlined in this post? http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=9579 To look up parts drawings, you can use the same system, but you'll use the model tab instead of the parts tab. Then choose Toro Consumer Equip from the dropdown list, hit the "Begins with" dot and type your model number in the box. Hit the Search button. Next, click on the model you want in the list (in this case there is only one) If there is a parts drawing/list available, it will appear in the box on the right. Choose the one you want to see and a new window will open with the parts list and drawing. (sometimes there is a parts list but not a drawing... and it will say "Image not available") It's not a perfect system, but it does pretty good.

Parke1 0 #9 Posted May 12, 2009 You must be right near me, then, as I'm right between Akron and Canton in Uniontown. Small Wheelhorse world, isn't it? Email me sometime if you want to shoot the breeze. I'm a new 857 owner myself. -Parke1
sorekiwi 761 #10 Posted May 12, 2009 sorekiwi I live in between Akron and Canton about 45 mins s of Geauga county Not too far at all, I spent some time down that way when my (now) wife was at Kent State. And I kinda think an 857 is a bit too new for me!
