Hello all, I just picked up a 520 lxi model 73547 serial number 200000271 How do I determine the year and approximate value?

low hours you would be lucky to get $2k. high to average then i would expect around $1200. I got mine with low hours and clean for $650. It just needed the carb cleaned and maintenance performed.

Thanks, it has 800 hours on it not sure if thats considered high or low. No plans on selling it just curious. I picked it up for $100.00 They said it didnt run. Took it home drained the fuel and changed battery started right up!

If is does not have the plastic camshaft part I would  value it at $2,500. plus. 

 

Average to good condition 5xi values  with about 500 - 700 hours have drifted downward in recent years.  The exceptional, super low hour machines (under 200 hours) still command a premium price.

 

About 5 years ago the exceptional machines with nice attachments were drawing upwards of $4,500 - $5,500.  Times and values have since changed.
