Mike from CLE 1 #1 Posted July 9, 2020 Anyone know of good part number for the V pulley located next to the flat pulley on the MULE? Wheel Horse model 312-8. The size on the v pulley is 4" 5/16" with a 3/4" center hole (shaft). Respectfully, Mike from CLE

tunahead72 2,522 #3 Posted July 10, 2020 @Mike from CLE I just saw your ad in the classifieds... If you're willing to buy used, try a-ztractor.com, he's one of our vendors here. He has some used ones for $10.
oliver2-44 10,452 #4 Posted July 10, 2020 (edited) Another possible option, is if your pulley is the stamped metal kind you can drill out the spot welds that hold it together and replace the bearing. The bearing are suposedly common and you can fasten it back together with machine screws and locknuts or some Loctite. I've seen the bearing number posted one here, maybe someone will jump in with it. I found this post with bearing info, Edited July 10, 2020 by oliver2-

Mike from CLE 1 #6 Posted July 11, 2020 Thank you everyone for the wonderful replies. A friend of mine gave me a non continuous running, 312-8. After some TLC I got the engine and mower to run continuously. Now, with your help, I am resolving the minor discrepancies like the terrible loud noise coming failed pulleys and idler bearings and worn out belts. I need to do a lot of sanding on the mower deck pulleys so it doesn't eat up my belts. FYI, I was able to rebuild the Mule's idler with a new bearing and I will let you know the part number of the new bearing once I confirm it works. Unfortunately the Mule's V pulley was damaged during disassembly and beyond repair. Respectfully, Mike from CLE
