bds1984 1,499 #6 Posted July 6, 2020 The breather is a small reed under the valve cover. From the valve cover is a hose that goes to the back side of the air cleaner. When I got my 315-8 a few years ago it had blown out a pto-side crank seal because the hose going from the valve cover was somehow plugged. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
