So Irv is back in the shop for more repairs someone's knocking at the door or in this case the oil pan. Going back to the 14 horse that got gas in it the last time because of the fuel pump. Hope it's quick this is a great cutting tractor ! I took two cranks  to my machine shop friend at the

tune of a whopping 80 bucks! I'm taking a 16 horse block with me that has been bored 20 over and thinking about going to 30 with it. Any thoughts?

It is usable at .020?

Leave it alone if so.

No real gain in an increase of .010.

Well the piston that was in it when the rod blew was 20 over. I'm not sure what the PO did to the motor but he was using it for pulling. Have been told you can go to 30 if you're not pulling maybe someone correct me if I'm wrong. He's going to check with the dial board gauge see what's going on with the cylinder and check the piston out as well. If they're fine I'll just do a hone job and new rings.

Yesterday got some things together. Picked up the two cranks from the

machine shop.  One for this one and

one for my k341 build later. Hope to

having this running this weekend.
