midpack 1,011 #5 Posted June 25, 2020 (edited) Looks like a series I engine, I have the exact machine, it's a great combination as long as the maintenance had been done during it's lifetime Mine is a beast moving snow Edited June 25, 2020 by midpack
snowhound 106 #6 Posted June 25, 2020 Ya I thought it would be a series 1 but from what I've read they're good as long as you keep clean oil in them and don't drive on a lot of side hills. In other words drive up and down the hill not back and forth along it
midpack 1,011 #7 Posted June 25, 2020 It's been on there since Monday I think, make an offer, you never know. If that 48" deck is any good you might get a great deal
Pollack Pete 2,273 #8 Posted June 26, 2020 I wouldn't be afraid of that series 1 engine.Just keep it a little over full on the oil. Some guys on here swear by them.I have two C-175's.Great tractors.Love the automatic trans.Really love the hydraulic lift.Good luck.
