So i got a flywheel cover from my old maintence guy who dropped it off quitely. I have been resting alot which isnt like me Im always working on something but my stinkin neck has been jacked up for a week or so. Anyways it looks to be off of a newer onan alot newer. will it fit? I dont want to take my drive shaft and crap off if it wont work. It looks like it may but it has alot of holes on the outside edge of the screen and the typical 4 in the center. the original screen for mine had 4 on the outside and 4 in the middle. mine should look like the 1st photo but the 2nd photo is what the guy brought me. 3rd photo is my onan. I will make it work if i have to. its better then having nothing on there.

Took a quick peek at my MF 1650 which has the Onan in it like the WH's and its screen seems to have 4 holes around the rim -- and of course the 4 for the drive. The way those engineers were always messing with changes there may be several variations of the screen!!

 

And if the WH Onan is mounted like the MF its quite a booger to get that thing out --- and then find out it wouldnt fit!

If at least the 4 center holes will work then they would pretty well hold it.

 

You could always drill out the outside ones if required.

 

Now if the whole screen is the wrong size then all bets are off.

I am plaining on trying this screen that was given to me i will take photos as i go. I will most likely make it work. i need something on there. better then nothing at all!

update I tried the screen it wont work without doing some modifications. Does anyone have the correct screen for my bf ms 2929E 16 hp Onan? I need one. dont care of the color just need the correct one.
