Oldcpecdr 255 #1 Posted June 16, 2020 Well you were all correct !!!!! They multiply... Took my van and trailer and picked up a B-100 with Hydro today... looks pretty clean and runs exceptionally well, only issue I could find was a weeping rear axle seal. I am sure I will be asking advice on changing both while its apart. I probably paid a little too much at 425.00 but Horses are scarce in the Northeast in good shape so I jumped right on this one.... first Craigslist alert that was a reasonably good buy. Let me tell you how much I love my trailer for this stuff, lower the ramp drive them in and strap them down.....and off for home... Mike B 6
Sparky-(Admin) 23,284 #2 Posted June 16, 2020 Nice find! Looks like it came with a deck and a snowplow/tiller bracket so you did fine at that price in my opinion. I’ve never done an axle seal replacement but when your ready a whole bunch of guys here have done it and they will walk ya right thru it.
JoeM 8,442 #3 Posted June 16, 2020 1975 B100 Automatic, was my first WH! Was in great shape when we bought it, ran r for years. Kids hit into trees and stuff. Same deck as yours. Nice find!
roadapples 6,983 #4 Posted June 17, 2020 But....those yellow wheels are hurting my eyes....
Oldcpecdr 255 #5 Posted June 17, 2020 Sorry about the yellow wheels, last year they were on Amazon , two wheels and two tires mounted for- if I remember correctly about 40.00 - shipped. My C120 needed a pair for the front and the rims AND tires were the same price as tires alone...and I didn't have to struggle changing 45 year old tires !!! Sealed bearings ( well, bearings with a shield lol) included too, I will paint the rims soon, promise. I did need to make up a couple of 3/4" spacers, about 3/8 difference in hub width. Meanwhile the old rims and OLD tires (very old) tires are on a shelf up on the third floor.... probably never see the light of day till my kids get to clean this place out. Oldcpecdr 255 #6 Posted June 17, 2020 Started with these two oldies 2 1/2 years ago, how come the TRAILERS don't multiply ? I should have four trailers by now, or do they have a longer gestation time ? 2 1
