Damon 0 #1 Posted June 14, 2020 I just bought a 1991 wheelhorse 416-8 and my lift lever will not lock when i pull it back the button is stuck in the down position i got it to come up once but it was very difficult. And my height adjuster seems to have stripped out the brass fitting. Where to start on fixing them? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
David414 289 #2 Posted June 16, 2020 Please refer to the manual lift linkage diagram for your tractor model number which can be found on the Toro parts look up. It has the exploded view of all parts that you may need. The height adjuster is a threaded rod. Underneath your lift lever button is a spring. All items are detailed in the parts diagram. Damon 0 #3 Posted June 20, 2020 Ok now i have different problem the shifter broke and and when i was pulling the part out of transmission released the set screw the brokin part dropped down i got it out but now i cant get the shifter to go back in the v.
