Lee1977 7,224 #1 Posted June 11, 2020 I order a new fan gear shaft back in the late 80's from a large Wheel Horse Dealer in Charlotte , NC "Beniields". I Haven't see or heard of this from anyone else who has Wheel Horses. I tried to get a picture but I have the 48" deck on and it's almost impossible to see, What you are looking at is a casalitted nut with cotter key on a treaded fan gear shaft. I do know they offered reinforced front spindles, seen those ,maybe this was designed as replacement part for loader tractors. Might need good eye site are a good imagination, but it's there. Has anyone else see this?
Lee1977 7,224 #3 Posted June 11, 2020 I must have got a prototype the bean counters decided was too costly to put in to production. That is if nobody has ever seen one.
