This stinks!

The Tuul Crib

Putting the 8 horse back together on my 855 I noticed there was no where to put the starter and found it pointing straight down. The PO that had this tractor before me must've had some starter work done and put it together wrong? Not really sure about it!

If it works, I wouldn't be too worried about it. You could always pull it apart and should be able to rotate it 180 degrees if you wanted to.

Maybe a wrong "clock position" when reassembled.

Like Jonah says I wouldn't be too concerned as long as it doesn't touch to ground.

May want a rubber/plastic cap on the lug.

Yeah, its just reversed -- it'll go 2 ways, easy enough to do, not paying attention. I think I'd go ahead and fix it, looks like that position would be an aggravation to fool with.
