ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #1 Posted June 6, 2020 Hooked on to the trailer after work this evening and went to pick up the tractor I traded my John Deere mower for the first part of the week. Turned out to be a 1067. I know the coil is bad but other than that not sure yet. Will probably work on it some in the morning 6

I have a STX38 that I was given, and figured I'd get running and flip. Turns out it knocks badly.. so it sits!

ebinmaine 73,002 #7 Posted June 6, 2020 The limited slip axle of the horse is worth more than the whole green one. Great little tractor.
71_Bronco 1,072 #8 Posted June 6, 2020 Looks like a solid tractor. Some tubes will probably save the tires and you're good to go
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #9 Posted June 6, 2020 Got it over to the shop, off the trailer, and drug inside. It's a little rougher than it originally appeared, but still a solid old tractor, deck seems to be in really bad shape, but I've got the good deck off my 1277. Everything is really stiff from sitting, cant get the deck lift to raise at all and the clutch is really stiff as well. Plan on getting the engine to run again and then go from there, if it runs good and everything works halfway decent, I'll keep it like it is. If it runs but has other issues, i'll put it out back on project row and put the engine over on the 1277 so I've got my favorite mowing machine back
