BBELL94 25 #1 Posted June 5, 2020 Going to look at this Work Horse this weekend. It's a GT1800. Comes with a 48" SD, and two 42" decks. One SD and one RD. Also comes with new transmission filter and NOS muffler. Guy wants $450 for it. Seem like a fair deal? Guy claims it runs and mows great. Also, what's the difference between a GT1800 and a GT1848? Goldnboy 1,035 #4 Posted June 5, 2020 If you go my thread in the restoration section "GT1848 refresh" you can see a worst case look at a GT1800/GT1848 a hidden item to check is the frame to seat mounting for cracks which seem to be a weak spot on 300/400 series.
