bottjernat1 2,194 #3 Posted June 5, 2020 (edited) I prefer what ever my machine came factory with. over all the starter generators to me seem to last a long time! I also have a amish repair shop near me that rebuilds them pretty cheap. I have a few machine with starter generators. Here is one of them my original 953 and my daughter maddison being goofy in the background. This one has little ports on the starter generator to add oil every once in a while.
