Welsh523dxi 5 #1 Posted June 1, 2020 Chaps - hope you can help - got a 523dxi (I'm in Wales in the UK for info). I'm trying to find the serial number for the tractor - I'm assuming it's a silver sticker, like the one on the mower deck etc. But I can't find it on the actual tractor - please can someone tell me where it's located ? If it's been lost or worn or something - is there any other way of getting it? I bought the tractor 2nd-hand, no paperwork with it unfortunately. I've found the paper tab (up in the dashboard) with some numbers on it and Ill, Chicago and 99 written on it but I'm assumingthat's just related to the wire it's attched to and simply backs up that the tractor was built in Illinois, Chicago in 1999. shallowwatersailor 3,214 #4 Posted June 2, 2020 If the export models are similar to the domestic Toro 523Dxi, the 73551 will have the Daihatsu DM950D engine and the #73552 will have the DM850D engine. The DM950D engine is actually the 26 hp version (Toro 526 Dxi?) that was used initially in 1998. The DM850D is the 23 hp version so an actual 523Dxi.
