adsm08 1,434 #1 Posted May 29, 2020 The other night my neighbor came over asking for help getting the PTO belt back on his 310-8. The belt was badly stretched, mostly shredded, and jammed under the mule drive pulley. When I took the guard off to get the belt unstuck this piece fell out. I looked all over the tractor and can't find anything obviously missing or damaged, but I can't shake the feeling this was part of the tractor at some point. Does it look like anything to anyone?

Also, this piece is solid metal, more like a backing plate for the friction material. 1 hour ago, Ed Kennell said: Blade for a safety razor. Thanks Ed. After the last two weeks at work I've started cutting again. The razor was the closest thing I had handy for a sense of scale. 1 hour ago, Lee1977 said: I don't think it's part of a Wheel Horse And it may not be. The previous owners of his house left the place a mess. It may be a piece of random debris that got kicked up off the ground, that just seemed unlikely given the way I found it lodged in the shield on the mule drive. We are not looking at my depression razor. I'm interested in the beat up piece of metal under it.
Tractorhead 8,611 #8 Posted May 30, 2020 Looked as a broken piece of steel ( crap) from any multiple hitch lever. Maybe a added tool the gives up while working.
Stormin 9,975 #9 Posted May 30, 2020 Could be the broken off end of a cutter blade off something. Thrown up and got stuck in the guard.
