Dan.gerous 2,696 #1 Posted May 29, 2020 It was so hot my youngest daughter and I decided to turn the wheelhorse into an ice-cream van and do a tour of the farm handing out cold drinks and ice-cream to everyone. 4 3

Mike'sHorseBarn 3,271 #9 Posted May 29, 2020 This makes me wonder if anyone has ever rigged up a gear reduction to run an ice cream maker off a wheel horse. 1

Your only about an hour and a half away, still plenty of beer in the fridge and I can fire up the BBQ 😊 Edited May 29, 2020 by Dan.gerous 2

You could have a 12 volt fridge/freezer or even gas like the RV one.

That sounds for a urgent need of a small horse camper😎 Edited May 29, 2020 by Tractorhead
Dan.gerous 2,696 #17 Posted June 1, 2020 The wheelhorse has hardly stopped moving the last two weeks, I keep finding new jobs for it. Here are some pictures of the "clothes horse". The little machine is amazing, we have had it all around the farm, ripping old gates out of the undergrowth, picking up years of rubbish, moving piles of stones, dirt, used hay from the pet chickens, piglets and sheep, collecting rubbish bins, loading the bonfire, moving firewood etc 1
ebinmaine 73,002 #18 Posted June 1, 2020 Absolutely wonderful to see these old machines being put to great use. You're just going to need a few more.....

They are awesome little machines, I have to keep reminding myself that its 40 years old! Have the other one in the shed, but had to steal a few parts to get this one running properly. My plan is to have as many as I can get away with! would really like to pick up one with a V twin Kohler and the next shape from the ones I have. also want a bigger trailer with some sort of hydraulic tipper as the manual one is not that great. The list is long!

Moving the axle back was the best thing since sliced bread... Since then I've installed the manual boat winch. HUGE improvement. I still need to reinforce the front where the cable attaches. (Again) And possibly add an electric winch....
