Set Up Manual for Vacuum Bagger for C Series

Recommended Posts

Damien Walker

Hello All,

I have searched an searched (including on Toro's website) but I cannot find this manual....I presume one exists?

The bagger I am interested in mounts on the rear of the tractor and the blower is driven by a long belt from the engine shaft. This requires a set of three pulleys mounting by the right hand rear wheel to guide the belt through a serpentine route past the hydro fan (and I have seen reports that the fan can hit the belt).

Parts manuals are available but I have yet to find a set up manual. A setup manual is available for the earlier tractors with the earlier transaxle, but the belt route is slightly different on these. Ie a set up manual or some photos of the real thing would be a great help.

Model number as far as I can see is: 07-42VC01 of around 1980 or perhaps a little earlier.

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks.

Hi Garry,

Many thanks for your response...unfortunately, I can't find the document I am looking for there!

This is definitely the parts list for machine: Mower Vacuum Lawn 42in 1980-1984 07-42VX01 TIPL sn.pdf

Distinguished by the three belt pulleys inside of the rear right hand tractor wheel and the serpentine belt run.

This is the older model: Mower Vacuum Lawn 42in 1977-1978 77-42VX01 TIPL SN.pdf (single pulley and relatively straight belt run)

And this is the manual for the older machine: Mower Vacuum Lawn 42in 1975 7-2613 & Hose 7-2621 OM IPL sn.pdf

This last document is listed as fitting C Series, but it is actually for the Raider/Charger style tractors (ie not Eaton Transmission) so this is the very early C-Series, not the C-Series that the later 300, 400, 500 series were based upon. (I think!)

I'm looking for the equivalent manual for the later machine shown on this parts list: Mower Vacuum Lawn 42in 1980-1984 07-42VX01 TIPL sn.pdf

Hope this makes sense and that you can help!

Many thanks once again.

Best regards,

Damien
