Looks like it had a good life.

The 6311 Julian build date should be 5311. They could not grasp the Julian build date concept.

Julian date is first the year followed by the number of the day of the year. 6311 is the 311th day of 1976 or 5311 is the 311th day of 1975.

They got confused building a 1976 model tractor in 1975 for the October 1975 release of the 1976 models.

Added your numbers here. Click on the fuzzy picture

So i saw in one manual on here that this should have a gas cap with a dial indicator is that correct because mine doesnt have that.  i was told to get a 197?-197? chevy c10 cap. Which is correct? and does anybody have part numbers? I have stens gas caps with a meter but they have threads on the outside. I will be asking alot of questions. The manual for a 1976 on here doesnt have a break down of the parts?

I got a generic seat for my WH from tractor supply. Doesnt have the logo embossed on it, but that doesn't bother me. I did have to do some reseach and make sure the "universal bolt pattern" would fit up with the WH pattern.

As to finding a new one of that specific seat, good luck.

I am thinking about having my local upholstery shop do one for me. The guy did a motorcycle seat years ago for me and did a great job. Not sure I also have a friend who makes seat covers for hapcoparts.com They might be able to make me something. Thanks for the suggestion. I may just go that route to.

Two years ago, I purchased a high back tractor seat that incorporated several bolt patterns in the seat frame, which one of the bolt patterns fit my 1989, 414-8.

Brought from L&M Fleet supply, SKU # 64520021, Concentric International Deluxe high back seat for less than $60.
