rustyiron038 1 #1 Posted May 6, 2020 I replaced the carb on my 12hp k301s with an aftermarket carb, now the fuel pump is overloading the carb with gas, the pump is original is the carb not suited for the fuelpump or is there another issue, any help or thoughts welcome Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ebinmaine 72,674 #2 Posted May 6, 2020 It's more likely that you have foreign matter in the needle and seat or a defective carb. Lots of us have run those aftermarket carbs and not had an issue but I am not one of them. Rob R 973 #9 Posted May 10, 2020 What Stevasauras said the Chinese in there cheap endeavor's made the leaf on the float lever out of the cheapest grade material known to man so you have to get the float level just right or she will leak like a sieve.
