Larry P. 45 #1 Posted April 19, 2020 Hello, I'm just getting ready to mount the ignition coil onto the shroud of my C160 project, when I noticed that when you shake the ignition coil it sounds like there is liquid inside it. I know years ago some ignition coils were filled with oil to keep them cool. Is the K341 ignition coil oil filled or do I need to start looking for a new ignition coil. Thanks for your help, Larry

Thanks for your help, Larry Coils are oil filled to help cool them. Assuming this is an internal resistor coil, you ought to be fine. A coil is a coil!

Larry P. 45 #4 Posted April 19, 2020 Thanks everyone for your response. I'll assume the coil is supposed to be oil filled. My next question is what the heck are these parts??? I have these two parts and I cant figure out what they go to. I can't find them on any parts list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
