tom2p 2,394 #26 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) btw - another thing I do we use fuel stabilizer (Stabil) fairly frequently and not often but once in a while add some oil to the gasoline ; usually just a very small amount - usually 2 stroke oil but sometimes motor oil ... why ? if you've worked on 2 stroke engines (fuel/oil mix) one thing that often stands out quickly compared to a 4 stroke engine is the difference in the condition of the carb internals and condition of the fuel line and related materials 2 stoke carb internals look much better - little or no corrosion etc compared to 4 stroke engine (older engines) and the rubber and similar materials much more pliable Edited April 5, 2020 by tom2p Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
