The question at his local battery store is not what kind do you need but how many do you need?

Well let me put it this way, I’m friends with the owners of the local Carquest Auto Parts store so I just go right in the stockroom in the back and get them myself because I know exactly where they are!!! As a matter of fact I just bought two this week! Is it just me or do they not last like they used to? I even disconnect them when in storage and if I remember I’ll trickle charge occasionally.

18 Wheel Horses times $50.00 per battery =$900.00 which is why I would never buy them all at once. My wife would freak out 😜

Unfortunately it is not just you ... Something in the manufacturing process has changed over the last 12 to 15 years.

My small engine awesome guru that I like going to was telling me that you should be getting two or three seasons out of an average lawn and garden battery nowadays. If you maintain it and disconnect it, maybe as much as 5.

My Cinnamon horse was having a bit of difficulty particularly when it was cold.

I changed it to a group 51 battery I got from a local salvage yard. Wow. What a difference!

Looks like the showroom at a WH Dealership other than the series are mixed.   Excellent     I have had very good luck with NAPA batterys.
