c-series don 10,155 #1 Posted April 3, 2020 Kinda nice yesterday and I’m home not working so I took a few out so I could clean the garage. It’s time to get the deck and Peco vac on the 416-H. 1 11
The Tuul Crib 7,339 #2 Posted April 3, 2020 Nice collection Don. But where do you put your truck at night? 1
c-series don 10,155 #3 Posted April 3, 2020 If I put them back in there winter time hibernating places (sheds, basement and a couple in the garage) I have plenty of room for my truck. As long as my wife doesn’t seek her Explorer in there before me! I mostly need to put my truck inside in the winter because I have a sanding and snowplowing business. Sometimes in the summer it can end up looking like this! 5 7

ebinmaine 73,010 #5 Posted April 3, 2020 The question at his local battery store is not what kind do you need but how many do you need?
c-series don 10,155 #6 Posted April 3, 2020 Well let me put it this way, I’m friends with the owners of the local Carquest Auto Parts store so I just go right in the stockroom in the back and get them myself because I know exactly where they are!!! As a matter of fact I just bought two this week! Is it just me or do they not last like they used to? I even disconnect them when in storage and if I remember I’ll trickle charge occasionally. 1

My wife would freak out 😜

Something in the manufacturing process has changed over the last 12 to 15 years. My small engine awesome guru that I like going to was telling me that you should be getting two or three seasons out of an average lawn and garden battery nowadays. If you maintain it and disconnect it, maybe as much as 5. Edited April 3, 2020 by ebinmaine Correct autocorrect
ebinmaine 73,010 #9 Posted April 3, 2020 My Cinnamon horse was having a bit of difficulty particularly when it was cold. I changed it to a group 51 battery I got from a local salvage yard. Wow. What a difference!
JCM 10,251 #10 Posted April 5, 2020 Looks like the showroom at a WH Dealership other than the series are mixed. Excellent I have had very good luck with NAPA batterys.
