cpic1 0 #1 Posted April 2, 2020 Hi, I have a old ark/wh loader off a C-161 and I need to change the control valve / joystick. Does anybody know how many GPM and PSI I need?
JoeM 8,354 #2 Posted April 2, 2020 Most of the ones I have and seen are less than 8 gpm. closer to 4. Pressure is not much more than 1000 psi. When selecting make sure the fittings are a match. That arc loader VB is most likely pipe thread. The cheaper newer valves are either boss o-ring or British pipe thread. the boss o-ring adapters will be cheaper. wallfish 18,144 #4 Posted April 2, 2020 Anything 10 GPM or under will work. If it has a joystick control valve it was already changed before. You want one with a float detent on one spool Something like this https://www.surpluscenter.com/Hydraulics/Hydraulic-Valves/Directional-Control-Valves/2-Spool-8-GPM-Prince-MB21GB5C1-DA-Valve-w-Float-9-7862-F.axd Or this https://www.surpluscenter.com/Hydraulics/Hydraulic-Valves/Directional-Control-Valves/2-Spool-Compact-10-GPM-Joystick-Control-Valve-9-7401.axd
