Yes - the "8"'s are 3 forward gears and one reverse, with a high and low range that results in "8" gears...

Yes, the 314-8  has 14 HP and a high/low range that gives you 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.      This would be a great tractor for plowing and mowing.

At 444 hrs,  If it runs and drives and mows  as it should,  $550 is a reasonable price.     Is the deck included with the plow blade?

It’s a very fair deal if it runs good and the trans is good. If the snow blade is homemade or for a different brand just sell it off in November and find a WH blade

FYI,  wheel horse implements average price

snow /dozer blade and frame ( 314 needs a long frame)   $150  +- $50  You also need an axle bracket   $40 +- $10

Ground turning plow   $140 +- $30       You also need a clevis hitch    $50 +- $20

Mowing decks   $200 +-  $50

I think it looks pretty decent. AG tires on the back already will save you some cash. Bring $500 and go get it IMO. Start at $450 and work some magic. Good luck

I don't know if it has one or not, is this something that I can add to it later?

I'm not sure if it is a WH plow.     It could be, but we need a picture of the frame and/or the angle sector to be sure.

Sometimes the angle lever interferes with the foot rest and it is possible because of this, the PO did not install the lever.

would it be a deal breaker if its not a wheel horse blade?
