SylvanLakeWH 28,612 #2 Posted March 28, 2020 Yes - the "8"'s are 3 forward gears and one reverse, with a high and low range that results in "8" gears...
Ed Kennell 42,192 #3 Posted March 28, 2020 Yes, the 314-8 has 14 HP and a high/low range that gives you 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. This would be a great tractor for plowing and mowing. to the Hillbilly Hunter
wvhunter 88 #5 Posted March 28, 2020 thanks for the help!!! this is a picture of the tractor it has 444 hours and comes with a snow blade but I don't think its a wheel horse blade, he wants $550.00 for it. is this a fair deal?
Ed Kennell 42,192 #6 Posted March 28, 2020 It looks nice. A 42" rear discharge deck.....any other implements? Price?
Ed Kennell 42,192 #7 Posted March 28, 2020 At 444 hrs, If it runs and drives and mows as it should, $550 is a reasonable price. Is the deck included with the plow blade?

It’s a very fair deal if it runs good and the trans is good. If the snow blade is homemade or for a different brand just sell it off in November and find a WH blade

Reel Mower Freak 125 #20 Posted March 28, 2020 I think it looks pretty decent. AG tires on the back already will save you some cash. Bring $500 and go get it IMO. Start at $450 and work some magic. Good luck
The Tuul Crib 7,339 #21 Posted March 28, 2020 TO Nice tractor and it should serve you well! With proper maintenance and upkeep it will last a long time!

Ed Kennell 42,192 #24 Posted March 28, 2020 I'm not sure if it is a WH plow. It could be, but we need a picture of the frame and/or the angle sector to be sure. Sometimes the angle lever interferes with the foot rest and it is possible because of this, the PO did not install the lever.
