Took the 520H I have been working on out for a walk about today. Really glad I rescued this ol girl a few more years setting around would have been rough on her. Must have set outside the last few years by the way the decals, paint and gauge faces where sun faded.

A bit late.. all running...C-160-8 complete overhaul and now runs great thanks to stealing a carb from the other160-8 (next project tractor???)  Commando eight also overhauled and ready to take over Trimming and other tight place mowing duties from another Commando....  That Command 8 runs well but you get a puff of smoke when she starts ...not sure if she will get overhauled or not...

That doesn't bother me one single whisker. We've restored four of them to fresh paint and they all get worked.

You send it right up to Maine and I'll babysit it for you.

New to me c-100 came with mower deck in pretty good shape.runs a little choppy but fired right up.

Paid 400 bucks.

Met a guy threw here and once I heal up from surgery I do believe she'll have a plow for her too.

Your the second person to mention that to me. I'm understanding this correctly there weights off a d series and are valued more ? Rarity the reasoning ?

I still have a set from a 400 series I used to have but there plastic covered. With the wheel horse stamp in middle

Came with a deck in great shape.

Many folks prefer the cast iron weights’ appearance and damage-resistance compared to the plastic. They are also a bit smaller, physically, than the concrete-filled plastic ones for a given weight. Demand drives price.

Well that makes sense

I like the look of metal vs plastic any day. Looks period correct

The WW-93 weights for a 953 / 1054 / GT-14100_4675.JPG.a86a6a95762c6cf73de4dca909544f84.JPG go for $ 300 a set or more, a bit over $ 1.60 a pound.
