gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,524 #4 Posted February 3, 2020 A normal or most common bolt or screw has right hand thread for comparison. The #37 sleeve or tube has left hand threads on one end and right hand threads on the other end. Designed this way simply rotating the sleeve with the tie rods mounted to the steering spindles will change the distance between the tie rods. That is how the toe-in is adjusted. Get it where you want it and lock the #36 and #38 nuts to hold it there. When you assemble the ends to the tube thread each one in the same distance. Then you can reinstall it on the tractor. Then make the toe in adjustment. You want the distance between the front of the tires to be 1/8" - 3/16" closer than the distance between the rear of the tires when the wheels are facing straight ahead.
