wh1257 226 #1 Posted February 1, 2020 hello I have problems with my 7 hp kohler engine the engine is running but does not hit this directly through dyno start system he pits countless times once he starts he runs on half thortlle when I put this lower he falls next to the engine rather quite warm so warm until you see the red glow in the exhaust I have already replaced the condenser and the ignition coil this unfortunately does not help. thanks vincent 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tunahead72 2,518 #2 Posted February 1, 2020 I'm not sure I totally understand, but have you tried adjusting the carburetor? If it's set too lean, that might explain why it's running so hot, and maybe some of the other symptoms too. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
