Searcher60 209 #1 Posted January 30, 2020 I cannot find any picture or part number in the parts list for the rectifier/voltage regulator for either 69’ or 70’ Electro’s. Item #47 https://www.partstree.com/models/k301-47147-kohler-k-series-engine-made-for-wheel-horse-12hp-9kw/breaker-ignition-02110163509-29/ You won't like the price but should find a suitable replacement using the part number. 953 nut 59,327 #5 Posted January 30, 2020 There are only a handful of 12 volt Rectifier/Regulators on the market. There will be a three wire connector that fits the R/R and that will narrow the field down. The other glaring difference will be the heat-sink (the aluminum fins that dissipate heat). Some have short fins and must be in an airstream to cool and others (like yours should be) have longer fins. Show us a photo of the electrical connection please. Up till this time period the starter/generator and regulator came bolted to the engine. When they went to the Bendix starter and alternator stator they introduced the electronic regulator with the first one's Wheel Horse used being 10 amp. The C-Series use a 15 amp regulator that has different terminal locations but will work for you. Supply and demand seems to keep this one more economical. 101450 was the part number at the time. I like to use OEM parts as much as the next guy, but they shouldn't cost more than the tractor is worth. Garry Thanks, I ordered the Stens 435-057, $18.00 shipped. Hope it is correct. I have 26.3 Volts AC coming out of the Stator. Can you comment on a couple other issues? Who makes a throttle cable worth a dam? Is the Stens cable junk because the knob turns on the shaft and it will not hold position? Or, are they all a problem?
