Need to know if I jump the tan and the light blue wires will I bypass the the safety switches?  I want to temporarily take them out of the loop so I can chase a no start issue.  I stink at electrical problems but I am not afraid to try. 9pin connector is in nice condition

That should by pass all safety switches for the starter. If you just want to try the starter by it's self. Unplug the Lt. Blue wire from the starter solenoid, plug a spate wire on in its place and touch the other end of the new wire to + side of the battery. If you starter solenoid is good it should turn over.

Thanks Achto.  Starter checks out and the safety switches are bypassed.  Looks to be the auxiliary solenoid.  Is there a way to prove that?  Can I bypass it and how?

On my 520 the Lt. blue wire plugs into the solenoid that is mounted on the starter. I believe that this is what they are calling the auxiliary solenoid.

If the starter works with the safety's by passed then I would check each of the safety switches. Connect the Tan & Purple wires at the PTO switch together and try the starter. If it works then you have a bad PTO switch. If not, put the wires back in place. Next connect the Purple wire and the Lt. blue wires together at the neutral switch. If the starter works, then you have a bad neutral switch.
