1988SS 50 #1 Posted January 21, 2020 Wondering what the wear limit is? I just picked up this WH....next morning I wanted to drive it off my trailer and low range remained inactive at first(no drive)- this cleared up shortly hereafter. It's too cold and snow to work on it - questions 1) is a non functioning parking brake tough to fix? 2) the brake pedal leans too far forward when compared to the clutch pedal - fixable with adjustment? As for clutch disk some older one had rivited lining, don't want to get into the rivits.The later one had bonded linings Never change any gears unltss you are completely stopped. On the high and low range it can bend or brake the shifter fork. As for the brake peddle it can be adjusted, if you adjust it to ti far the parking brake won't work.
