Another Tire/Wheel Question/Problem to Solve

Recommended Posts

12Horse Paladin

Once i pulled my front wheels (thanks again for that help!), I think i found, lol, why my wheels dont sit straight...

As you look at the pic...the spindle...or, part the wheel slides onto...on the right. See how it sits, compared to the other side...?

I dont think that's right; least doesnt look it to me.

Is there a way to center/straighten/fix, it? So that it sits straight out, like the other side?

If it is something i can try to fix m'self, i'd like to, but could use some pics/instruction for guidance...

Thanks for any suggestions.

Based on the picture you posted it appears that you have the stock non adjustable tie rods. You can't do any adjustments to them.Wheel Horse Parts and More,a vender here has adjustable tie rods which can correct your issues.

I wonder if maybe its been ran into something and bent? If that's the case, it could probably be adjusted with heat and a hammer.

This, is what i was kind of thinking; and hoping some1 may suggest.

It's something my Dad could help me with at some point, and kind of low-buck.

Not that i think i'm cheap, and 35bux (what i found that MIGHT work) a side for adjustable tie rod ends doesnt exactly bother me.

But, it all adds up, and i'm thinking there will be some spending that HAS TO be done elsewhere to get the General all sorted out.

Most notably,  my electric clutch & rear axle/hub...

Thanks for the input; anything and everything y'all offer helps me figure out how to go about things...and i havent given up yet, either, 'cause of it all😊

Those spindles are welded together where the arm attaches. I have seen them crack and the spindle gets off kilter.Look at it close. It's an easy fix on a welder.
