what engines came in the 552?

:help:I bought this 552 with a new tecumseh engine from the 90S that was to big for the round hood so the owner rigged a square hood on it. It was a real frankenstine! I found the round hood for it and I took the 6hp engine off my lawn ranger just to mock it up. Now the air cleaner seems to be right up on the grill/hood and the exhaust would need to be redirected. I have a lot of old engines (B&S kohler clinton tecumseh wisconsin) can anyone tell me what w/h offerd on this model? did the 552 have a diffrent air cleaner from the ranger? any input would be appreciated Jeff in upstate NY
