Bigtrx34 321 #1 Posted December 7, 2019 I set out to get the old girl working, my neighbor gave me the tractor after he snapped the connecting rod on the engine. Ended up up with a "worker" not perfect but dang is it a fun ride. I refreshed my simplicity at the same time 4 4

Bigtrx34 321 #3 Posted December 7, 2019 Thanks Eric, this site was very helpful when I was putting her together. Got a line on a D160 and a 520H for this winter...... I am hooked on the horse! Ended up giving the Simplicity to the guy I got the 312 from and now that is all I am about.

Within the following year we bought 2 then an auction came up and we bought several more. We've 4 running/driving right now and 3 projects in the works for this winter/spring. Wheelhorse is a great machine.

ZXT 2,401 #8 Posted December 8, 2019 Excellent looking tractors! Looks like you did a good job on both. I like Simplicitys, but I can't say you did the wrong thing by keeping the horse! It will prove to be the best garden tractor that you've owned. Keep it up maintenance wise and it'll last you a long time! Good luck on acquiring the D160 and 520H. I'd love to find a D series!
