A long story

Well guys I have a story to tell you today and then I need help tracking down a few parts. I have a 72 Bronco 14, I got it when I was 16, I'm 22 now, and fixed it up after it had sat a long time and then started tracking down implements.by the time I was 18 I managed to find a plow, deck and blower for this machine. As I started college I realized how much college cost so I sold the tractor much to my regret and missed it much. Fast forward 4 years I'm nearly finished with college now and newly married and I get a call from the gentleman I sold it to,asked if I want to buy it back.Absolutely I say but later found it was a bit worse for wear from disuse. After he bought it he used it 1 time parked it and didnt touch it again. In that time he also lost parts for it on top how rough he sold it back to me for. It is running again now but I'm needing to track down some parts with your guys help. Parts on tractor itself I need are hydraulic hoses, a fuel pump and a rectifier. The parts he lost for it though are for my attachments. Upon return I found the blade control rod is missing for the plow and the lift bar for the snow blower is missing as well. Thanks in advance for any help and thanks for reading my story.

Noah it's great to hear you've got that machine back and will be putting it in order.

I don't have spares of the things you're looking for but many folks do. As stated above there are a good assortment of places to get parts for these rigs as well.

Good luck and please post pics.

We love our pics....

Welcome back! I also recently graduated college, but I acquired horses during that time rather than selling them!

Fuel pump and rectifier are both easily found on eBay for cheap. Are you sure that it actually needs a rectifier? Is it just not charging? Could quite possibly be a bad connection at the rectifier. I've had to clean the connections on mine before. I'd try that before throwing parts at it if you haven't already.

As far as hydraulic hoses, do you have a hydraulic hose shop near you? You should be able to take the hoses off, take them to the shop and tell them to make new ones. It will cost a little but probably less than finding pre-built ones somewhere.

:text-welcomeconfetti: back!!  It’s sad to hear of your Horse’s demise, but with a little time it’ll be back to tip top shape!

:wwp:

Are you more focused on the plow or the blower for the time being?

I discovered a few days ago when i picked up a hydraulic filter for my Bronco, that NAPA can/does make hydraulic hoses to spec as well.

They also do have the ORB gittings you need. Didnt get mine there, just asked.

Just another option to consider...

And yea, as stated above...

We like PICS.😊
